A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE TOWN OF SOMERVILLE
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the Town of Somerville, Tennessee;
THAT, the following policies shall be published on the official website of the Town of Somerville immediately following approval of this resolution by the Town of Somerville Board of Mayor and Aldermen;
Town of Somerville Website Privacy Statement
The privacy, confidence, and trust of individuals who visit the Town of Somerville website are important to us. No personal information is collected at this site unless it is provided voluntarily by an individual while participating in an activity that asks for the information. The following paragraphs disclose the information gathering and usage practices for the website.
Collection of Information

Comments Policy Statement
Town of Somerville seeks to engage and interact with the public, and welcomes comments and questions about its town, services or events. The following policies apply to the content of the Town’s social media platforms.
The Town of Somerville’s social media platforms are moderated. The Town of Somerville reserves the right to delete any post that it deems to be irrelevant.
The Town of Somerville strives to respond to questions within two business days of receipt. Members of the media are also asked to pose questions directly to the Town Administrator or Community Development Director and refrain from submitting questions via social media platforms in the form of comments or other social media postings.
